How to set a vacation responder/mail forwarding on your student account
Set a vacation responder in your Student Google mail account
- Log into Google Mail (http://mail.google.com)
- Click on the Gear and select See All Settings
- Scroll down to the Vacation Responder section
- Set your vacation responder
- Include your new alumni email address
- Include the date that your student account will no longer be active
- Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page
Set a mail forward for your Student Google mail account
- Log into Google Mail (http://mail.google.com)
- Click on the Gear and select “See All Settings”
- Click “Forwarding and POP/IMAP”
- Click “Add a forwarding address” and follow the steps to set up a mail forward
Note: A vacation responder and mail forwarding will work for 30 days after your account expires.
