Viewing Kaltura Video Transcripts
Most WFU School of Business videos accessed through Canvas are hosted on Kaltura. By default, Kaltura automatically generates captions and a corresponding text transcript for every video on its platform.
This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to:
- View a video's transcript
- Pop out the transcript into a separate window
- Download the transcript for offline use
- Print the transcript
View a Transcript
- Click the Show Transcript icon at the top right of the player.
- The transcript appears in the video window.
Pop out Transcript into a Separate Window
- With the transcript displayed, click the Pop out Transcript icon.
- The transcript will appear outside the video window.
Download and Print Transcript
- Click the three dots in the top-right corner of the player, or in the pop-out window if the transcript has been popped out.
- Select Download current transcript or Print current transcript.
- The action is performed and the menu closes.
