Forget Unneeded WFU Wireless Networks

WFU faculty, staff, and students who previously connected to the WFUwireless or WFUwireless-legacy SSIDs can now remove these unneeded connections from their list of wireless networks using the following steps.

Windows

Click the network icon in the System Tray to view the list of available wired and wireless networks.
In the list of wireless networks, right-click WFUwireless.
Select Forget.

Repeat this step for WFUwireless-legacy if it appears in your list of wireless networks.

Mac OS

Tap the Airport menu beside WFUwireless
Tap the WFUwireless ellipsis icon and select "Forget this Network"
Confirm and click "Remove"
Leave "Remember this information" turned on

If needed, repeat these steps to remove the WFUwireless-legacy network as well.

iOS Devices

From the iOS Home screen, tap Settings, then Wi-Fi, and tap the "blue i" next to WFUwireless
Tap “forget this network” then “forget.”
