VR Goggles: Install Engage and other Apps

Engage is the metaverse platform WFU School of Business will use to provide metaverse services directly for WFU Students.

Working with the Engage platform requires two steps:

Create an Engage Account

Please note that It is much easier to create an Engage account on a PC or Mac verus your VR device.

Once the account is established, use the following steps to install the Engage platform.

Place the headset on your head and press the Power Button to turn it on
Locate your controllers and make sure the primary controller with this button () is in your right hand
Using your primary controller, select Store with your index finger trigger
Using your primary controller, select the Search bar and enter the "Engage" and select Enter on the virtual keyboard

If the Engage App below does not appear in your search results, click the "????????" to expand the search results and the Engage app should appear.
Select the Engage App and follow the prompts to install.

Please note that it will take a few minutes for the app to download and install.

Use steps 1-5 to search and install any VR app.
Some apps will be free but most will require purchasing.
To add a mode of payment through your Meta Quest app, complete the following steps:
- Open your Meta Quest app on your Smartphone
- Tap the Menu option on the bottom of the Home screen
- Tap the Wallet
- Select the desired payment method and enter the required information
