Transfer Classic Quiz Question Bank question into a Classic Quiz

• Create a new Classic Quiz 
  • Name the quiz with question bank name you plan to use in New quizzes.
• Click the Questions tab then click Find Questions.
  
• Select the desired Question bank from the list. 
  
• Click Select All at the top to add all questions from the bank to the quiz. 
• At the bottom of the list, click Add Questions.
  
• Click Save at the bottom of the Quiz.

Export Classic Quiz with Question Bank Questions

• Click Settings from the Course Navigation bar.
• Click Export Course Content.
  
• Select Quiz under Export Type.
• Check the quiz just created with question bank questions.
  
• Click Create Export.
• Canvas will process the Export file. 
• Click the export file to download the file to your computer.
  

Import Classic Quiz with Question Bank Questions into New Quiz Item Bank

• On the Course Navigation pane, click Item Banks.
• Select All Banks from the This Course drop-down list.
  
• Click the New Bank button
• Name the new Item Bank and name the bank as your needs require and Create Bank.
  
• Select All Banks and locate and select the new Item Bank you just created.

• The new Item Bank will be empty.

• Click More button in the top right corner of the window and choose Import Content.
  
• Drag or browse to the downloaded quiz export file and click Import.
  
• The following confirmation appears upon the import completion and click Done.
  

Insert New Item Bank questions in a New Quiz

• From the Course Navigation pane, click the Quizzes tool.
• Create a New Quiz and click Submit. 
  • Enter the quiz name and details and then click Build.

• In the upper right-hand corner click Item Banks.
  
• Select All Banks from the drop-down list.
  
• Search or select the desired new Item Bank.
• Click the Item Bank to open and view the questions. 
  
• Click the Blue + beside the questions you wish to add to the quiz.
