Kaltura: How to save Camtasia Studio files to upload into Kaltura

Camtasia Studio files can be saved and uploaded to Kaltura for captioning and sharing. While Kaltura hosts many features, Camtasia offers a greater selection of options for video creation for users who have the knowledge and time to create videos with this tool.

Create or open a video file to upload in Camtasia Studio.
When all editing is complete, save the file before converting it to an MP4 for export.
Select Export > Local File.
Edit the File name if needed.
Change the Save location if needed.
In the Preset dropdown, select MP4 option.
Click Export.
When the Media is successfully exported, choose the appropriate option:
- Close (the export dialog box)
- View Media
- Open the File Location
Note the location of the saved file so that it can be uploaded to Kaltura.
