Google Drive: Sharing Files and Folders Log into your WFU Google account. In Google Drive, select the file or folder you want to share. Right-click the file or folder and choose Share from the shortcut menu.ORClick the Share button and do the following: Enter the email addresses or Google Groups you want to share with. Choose the access to be granted: Editor—Collaborators can add and edit content as well as add comments. Commenter (Select files only)—Collaborators can add comments, but not edit content. Viewer—People can view the file, but not edit or add comments. If desired, click Add Expiration to set a date for removing access.The default expiration is 30 days, click the pencil icon to change the expiration date Check Notify people to trigger an email notification regarding the shared access to the file or folder. To control how visible your files are to other people, such as keeping them completely private or allowing anyone on the web to see them, click the General Access drop-down options and select the desired options. Click Done. The Owners will be allowed to add people and change permissions options if needed.
